A vanity URL is a custom address for your Facebook business page, such as https://www.facebook.com/maybetech.

Having a vanity URL on Facebook makes it easier for people to find you and your content. You can set your vanity URL by setting your page username.

Step one

Go to your Facebook business page.

Step two

Navigate to the ‘About’ section.

Step three

Hit the "Create Page @username" link

Step four

Next, fill in what you’d like your page username to be – this is usually the name of your business, organisation, or venue. You can only set this once, so take a moment to think about it.

Step 5

That's it; you're done. You now have a short and simple Facebook Page URL you can feature on promotional materials and tell your customers.

If the username you want is already taken or not approved, you'll need to choose a different one. Make sure the username you're trying to create follows the guidelines for custom usernames.

Keep in mind that new Pages may not immediately be able to create a username, and that your Page's username may be removed because of inactivity.
