Did you know that on Twitter you can ‘pin’ a tweet to your profile so it always displays above all of your other tweets?
It’s one of the first things that people will see when they come to your profile to decide if you’re worth a follow. It acts as an extension to your bio, so use it to showcase your best content.
First, take a look at your feed and see if any of your tweets are ‘pin’ worthy - look for tweets with high engagement and that portray your business, organisation or destination well.
How to pin a tweet:
- Go to your Twitter profile.
- Find the Tweet you want to pin.
- Click on the three dots.
- Select “Pin to your profile page.”
If you can’t find any tweets you’re not happy to pin, create a new tweet you’d like to display.
