Could you or someone in your company offer some great advice about your services or products?

Customers follow you on social media to find out more information about your industry and what you offer. You know your business better than anyone and how it can help others, so this should shine through in your posts.

By helping your audience solve problems, you become a credible and trustworthy source of information. Answering your followers' questions enables you to create a sense of community around your brand.

Think about what questions your customers may have and create a post around them - for example:

  • If you’re a gardening company, you could offer tips on how to plant seasonal vegetables
  • Hairdressers could offer a step-by-step guide for creating a certain style
  • Restaurants could offer top tips on how to create a dish on their menu
  • Fashion stores could give tips on how to style their clothes

Here's a great example from Next

If you’re not sure what your customers may want to know, ask them! Social media is all about creating a conversation around your business, so when in doubt ask ‘What do you think?’.
