...Did we get your attention? To keep your followers hooked to your social pages, offer them an incentive such as an exclusive deal. 

Of course the frequency and what you offer all depends on your bottom line, but a little can go a long way. It could be a discount code for example, a free item or some of your time. 

To incentivise your audience, think of an offer that will reward your loyal followers, then post it to Twitter with information on how to redeem it. Be sure to keep a tally of how many people redeem the offer to see how well it worked.

For example, let’s say you’re a cafe, you could tweet:

“Pop into store today and show us that you follow us on Twitter to get a free cookie with your drink!”

Be sure to remind your followers of your offer during the day, and (pending permission) you could share or repost images of your happy customers enjoying their treat.
