At Maybe*, we're committed to providing the best service possible. To help us serve you better, we encourage you to report any bugs or problems you encounter using Loom. This step-by-step guide will show you how to easily record a bug and send it back to us through our live chat function.

Step 1: Install Loom

Download and install Loom from their website or your device’s app store. It’s available on multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.

Step 2: Set up your recording

Launch Loom and select your recording preference: screen, webcam, or both. Then, choose the specific area of your screen to record. You can record your entire screen or just a portion relevant to the bug.

Step 3: Reproduce the problem

Ensure you can replicate the bug before recording. This might involve opening certain software or performing specific actions.

Step 4: Start recording

Press the “Start Recording” button. There’s usually a short countdown before it begins. Clearly describe the issue you're facing, highlighting what should happen versus the actual outcome.

Step 5: Demonstrate the problem or bug

Perform the actions that lead to the bug, doing so slowly and clearly for easy understanding. Please add a voice over that explains what you are doing and what you want the outcome to be.

Step 6: Finish the recording

Once you’ve shown the bug, click the stop button to end the recording. This is often located at the bottom of your screen.

Step 7: Review and edit

Watch your recording to ensure clarity. Trim the start or end if needed.

Step 8: Share your recording

After reviewing, Loom will provide a link to your video. Prepare to share this with us.

Step 9: Additional details

Alongside your Loom link, include any extra information like written steps, error messages, and system details (e.g., operating system, browser version).

Step 10: Contact us via live chat

Visit the Maybe* website and use the live chat function, found at the bottom right of the page, to send us your bug report. Include the Loom link and any additional information.
