To get started with publishing your LinkedIn posts, all you have to do is click the blue "New Post" button in the top right corner

Marketing - Social Planner - LinkedIn Publishing

To get started with publishing your LinkedIn posts, select the Marketing tab and then click the blue "New Post" button in the top right corner of your page. Alternatively, there's also a "Create New Post" link at the bottom of your posts list. You can either create a new post, upload CSV, or use Content AI.

Create New Post

Post To

Select LinkedIn as the Social media platform you wish to post to.

Type Content

Type in your social content, rich media, hashtags, and more in this field. Get creative with adding formatting elements like bold and italicised text, images, and even videos before hitting the Publish button!

Preview In

You can preview all your content here before you post it.

Save For Later

You can save your update as a draft until you are ready to post it.

Post

When you click on the "Post" button, it gives you three (3) different sending options and delete options to choose from:

  • Post Now This will allow you to send this post to the selected social channels/accounts.

  • Schedule Post This will allow you to schedule a post for a later date or time. Choose the date and time from the calendar and time slot.

  • Send Post for Approval This allows you to send for approval first within your agency or organisation. Choose the date and time from the calendar and time slot, and select an approver. You can add notes as well.

  • Delete If you want to delete any of your content, click on the delete button, which shows the "Delete confirmation" page. Be sure to want to delete it because it can't be undone.

Upload from CSV

Click on the "New Post" button and select the "Upload from CSV" button to direct you to the upload page.

Upload

  • The date format accepted is YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm: ss;. You can use the 24-hour format (example 2025/05/23 20:15).

  • The Text column will support captions and hashtags.

  • In the link column, it is an OG meta tag, and it accepts one link.

  • The image and video column will accept the multiple image(s) and video(s) comma-separated. For GIF, it will support one GIF only.

  • CSV import supports up to 90 posts per CSV.

Select Socials

  1. Create a new CSV when you click the "New Post" button.

  2. Once the user adds the CSV file and selects the socials, there will be an option to Select an Approver.

  3. Once the posts are imported, they are reviewed by the chosen approver. Once approved, they will be scheduled on the social calendar.

LinkedIn Requirements

While publishing the LinkedIn post and story, here are the requirements to follow:

Post

LinkedIn allows you to add images to your list representing the product to people and how it looks. They have certain practices regarded as an image ratio.

Choose the ideal aspect image ratio:

Images and videos can help with social engagement towards your business. You can create an image using content AI or upload it from the media library.

  • Content AI

    • Describe the image you want to post, and AI will give you samples you can choose from. Click "Try an example" to better understand how the AI works.

    • Select the number of variations you want your selected image style to have.

    • Once you click on the image style you want, click the "Generate" button to direct you to the Image style variable you already selected. Choose the variable you like and click the "Continue" button to upload it.

  • Upload from Media Library

    • The images must be in JPEG, PNG, and GIF formats.

    • The picture's size must be between 10 KB and 5MB.

    • The minimum image resolution should be 250x250.

    • The photo should be related to the product.

    • The maximum amount of images allowed per post is 9.

Choose the ideal Video size:

  • LinkedIn allows you to add videos to your list representing the product to people and how it looks. They have certain practices regarded as video size.

  • The video's size must be between 10 KB to 5MB.

  • The minimum video resolution should be 250x250.

  • LinkedIn supports a video aspect ratio between 4/5 to 16/9.

  • The video should be related to the product.

  • The maximum amount of images allowed per post is 9.

πŸ“Œ Please Note: LinkedIn posts can't include different media types in one post. Select the media type you want to use (either image, GIF, or video) or switch to an Instagram account that allows it.

Content

The character limit for your LinkedIn post is 3000.

Use bold, italics, emojis, hashtags, and custom values.

Running LinkedIn Ads

Once the LinkedIn post is created and posted via the Maybe* platform, you can then use LinkedIn's native advertising tools to boost the post to a targeted audience. You can not boost the post directly from the Maybe* platform you need to go to your LinkedIn page to boost the post.
