Pinterest requirements
Images and Videos:
Choose quality images and videos that are the right size:
A Pinterest Post should always include a quality image or video, as that is what the platform is all about, so avoid posting blurry or bad quality media. They have certain practices and recommendations regarding images:
Vertically oriented images do tend to perform better than horizontally oriented; the perfect ratios are 2:3 and 4:5.
Vary your photos and videos, souse different angles and backgrounds, crops, or perspectives. Try to create fresh, new content regularly and this is received best on Pinterest.
For images, make sure to use different photos, either of different things, or at least different angles of the same thing, different backgrounds, crops, or perspectives. Vertical images work best since they're more likely to be seen.
Make your posts colourful! These tend to be shared 1000% more than black and white pictures. And images with dominant colours (think red, orange, pink and dark green) are shared 300% more than others. So go bold!
For text overlays, variation is the key too - so get creative with different colours, fonts, layouts, and graphics.
For images, the ideal size is 1000 x 1500px on Pinterest.
For videos, file type should be .MP4 or .M4V for desktop (or .MOV on mobile), max file size 2GB, video length minimum 4 seconds, maximum 5 minutes.

Keep your captions natural and easy to read. Match the tone and feel of your image or video.
Keep descriptions to a strong sentence or two, as only the first 50 characters are initially visible.
Include enticing details.
Include relevant keywords near the beginning of your caption to make your content more discoverable, but don't stuff your caption full of keywords
Add a Call To Action/CTA, to be clear what you want you audience to do.
