Facebook is a platform where you can reach the broadest demographic on social media, so having a page for your business is hugely beneficial when looking to reach your target audience.
Here is a step-by-step guide to setting up your page:
Firstly, go to your Facebook home page. If you already have Pages linked to your account, you will see them on the left hand side and therefore have a Pages button. Click here to see where you create a new page. If you don't have that on your Facebook page, go to the right hand side and click on the Menu option - a circle icon with a grid of nine dots in it - and that opens up a menu, where you can select Pages. Once you have created your page, you'll find it here in this section. Click on create new page at the bottom of this top section, and it will take you to create a page.
Next add your page name - this is not your page url, it will be the page name that people see.
Then complete the category, so one that suits your business best. Choose the best match if you cannot find the exact term.
Add a storing description, so people know what you're about and why they should interact with your page.
Then hit Create Page.
Next add in a profile picture, one that shows your branding and fits with your look and feel.
You will have the option to connect WhatsApp here if you wish to.
Next you sort out your pageURL, so this is will be a unique page url to help people find you with ease. Enter the name you would like, and you will see a green tick if this is acceptable and available. Then hit Create username. Now it’s easier for people to find your page in search.
And that is how to set up a Facebook business page.
